My journey behind the lens began as a production assistant for live TV shows and daytime docu-soaps, where I first discovered the power of storytelling through visuals.
From there, my career evolved into marketing, branding, and sales, with roles at Mercedes-Benz and Heart Radio, where I developed a deep understanding of how connecting with your audience builds trust, recognition, and long-term success. Working on the commercial advertising side of radio taught me the importance of strategy, consistency in brand messaging, and how powerful storytelling directly translates into sales.
All of that experience ultimately led me to photography and to building my own successful family photography business. From the beginning, I set out to become one of the most recognised and trusted photographers in Northamptonshire, and within just a few years, I had achieved exactly that.
As the market evolved, I recognised an opportunity to pivot into an area that was still largely underserved: brand photography. It felt like a natural progression to combine my creative eye with my strategic business background to help other female entrepreneurs show up confidently, authentically, and professionally online.
Today, I specialise in brand photography and social media content creation for female entrepreneurs across Northamptonshire and beyond, helping ambitious business owners create strategic image libraries that elevate their websites, social media, and personal brands.
For the past five years, this side of my business has continued to grow and I’m now excited to expand that support even further with the launch of The Brand Tribe Membership, a community designed to help female entrepreneurs increase their visibility, confidence, and impact through powerful brand imagery and meaningful connection.
Other random facts about me...
I love to travel and obsessed with being by water, usually on a paddle board. I also learnt to sail at my local sailing club, to support my children with their sailing journey, and discovered I loved it. I volunteer where I can with life outside of photography, mostly community led bits in my area. If I'm not going to wellness retreats or my local sound bath I'll be in my garden propagating hydrangeas or hostess (my friend have inherited the babies). And when that's done I might pick up a canvas and some acrylics and paint anything I'm currently obsessed with. Our home is full of paintings that I don't want to sell!
